Out of Log in seconds. Still 10-bit.

Nulume does two things to a Log clip: applies a 3D LUT, and lets you nudge the basics. No timeline, no clip trimming, no project files — just the tone, sorted, and exported with the bit depth the camera gave you.

How It Works

Three steps, then you're done

1

Bring in a clip

From your photo library, from the Files app, or straight from the share sheet. Original quality — never a re-encoded copy.

2

LUT, then the basics

Pick a LUT, set its strength, and adjust exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation and temperature. Toggle Before/After any time.

3

Export

Straight to your photo library, or out through the share sheet. Resolution, frame rate, capture date and location all carry over.

Why Nulume

A colour tool, not an editing suite

Apple Log and S-Log3, same pipeline

Clips are judged by container and codec, not by camera brand. Shoot Apple Log on the iPhone, or bring in S-Log3, C-Log, V-Log or F-Log from another camera through the Files app — if it is H.264, HEVC or ProRes in a .mov or .mp4, Nulume opens it.

The LUT sees the camera's own numbers

A 3D LUT is a lookup keyed on exact code values. Nulume pins its working colour space and feeds frames in unmanaged, so nothing silently reinterprets the Log curve before the LUT is applied — the usual reason a graded clip comes out wrong.

Real-time preview on Metal

The preview renders through Metal at 16-bit float, so a 10-bit source stays 10-bit all the way to the screen. Grading is applied to a display-sized frame, which is what keeps 4K playback smooth while the export still runs at full resolution.

Your own .cube library

Import any 3D .cube LUT and it stays in your library with a colour swatch you can pick out at a glance. Two neutral Log-to-Rec.709 conversions are built in, so there is something to work with from the first launch.

Exports sized to the source

The export bitrate follows what the original actually is, not a figure guessed from resolution. A high-rate camera file is not quietly re-encoded down to a fraction of itself, and a heavily compressed clip is not inflated. The estimated size is shown before you commit.

Nothing leaves the phone

Nulume has no networking code, no analytics and no tracking SDKs. Your footage and your LUTs are processed entirely on the device, and the LUT library is deliberately excluded from iCloud and from device backups.

Pricing

Grading is free. Bit depth is the upgrade.
